The Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Medical Director at Choate Center located at 1000 North Main Street, Anna, IL 62906.
The vendor shall provide Medical Director Services for Choate Center. Under administrative direction of Choate Center’s facility director, the physician serves as the Medical Director; supervises medical staff; maintains the overall quality of clinical care provided to the individuals at the facility, including planning, staff administration and implementation of medical treatment regimens, individual care programs and services of the facility. Develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures related to established standards for individual care, medical ethics, and licensing/regulations. The Medical Director shall be an Illinois-licensed physician to provide services to the Choate Center to ensure coverage. Routinely, work hours will be 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. The Medical Director will be expected to be available by phone outside of scheduled on site work hours.
