The Chester MHC is seeking abatement of approximately 10,632 square feet of floor tile in two patient housing modules in Unit F, including removal of asbestos-containing floor tile and mastic, mechanical grinding of concrete to minimum 120-grit, repair of cracks 1/16 inch or greater, installation of vapor barrier, installation of non-slip two-part epoxy of minimum two coats and 80 mils with decorative flakes except patient rooms, top coat, cove base and epoxy base, dust/fume containment, phased completion one module at a time, final cleaning, inspection, warranty documentation and restoration of lawn damage by June 30, 2027.
