The contractor provides materials, labor and equipment to replace two underground water distribution system isolation valves. Work includes excavating, removing and disposing of two existing 8" isolation valves at sites indicated by the facility; installing new valves in accordance with local codes, NFPA standards and Illinois Plumbing Code procedures; satisfactorily test operating the valves and providing a valve key; restoring any disturbed landscaping or pavement resulting from the valve replacements; and removing waste generated by the valve replacement.
