The vendor will perform routine and periodic inspection services in accordance with current State of Illinois Office of State Fire Marshall adopted editions of ASME/ANSI safety codes for elevators and escalators. The vendor will coordinate testing with CMS's contracted elevator maintenance vendors, witness annual no-load tests on traction elevators and pressure tests on hydraulics, perform periodic inspections on all conveyances during the same visit, and witness full-load tests on traction elevators once through the contract term. Inspections occur during normal business hours unless otherwise agreed. All labor is billed in half-hour increments at a per-hour rate that includes prevailing wage, fringe benefits, employer expenses, vehicle costs, travel, materials, and overhead. The vendor must provide inspection reports to the facility manager and reporting to CMS Bureau of Strategic Sourcing if requested.
