The contractor must provide all parts, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and engineering services to disconnect and dispose of the existing UPS and batteries; inspect current wiring; hardwire install and connect customer-supplied APC Smart-UPS 20000 units and battery packs; perform comprehensive testing including load tests, battery discharge tests, and verification of alarms; provide test reports, commissioning certificates, and system documentation; provide basic operational training to end-user staff; provide manufacturer's and labor warranties; and deliver a certified recycling manifest for all disposed batteries and UPS units. The work is to be performed at Building 950, Jefferson Avenue, Model and Simulations Lab, Fort Eustis, VA.
