Fort Benning QRP is soliciting bids from interested buyers for the purchase and removal of used, empty ammunition containers. These containers are not reusable for their intended purpose and are offered solely as scrap material. All containers have been inspected to ensure they are free of hazardous materials and meet applicable safety and environmental standards.
The buyer must purchase and remove three loads of used empty ammunition containers (mixed M2A1/M2A2, M19A1, and PA 108 cans) from Fort Benning, GA. Each lot weighs approximately 123,000 lbs. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation using a 53-foot van trailer, and must schedule pick-up at least 24 hours in advance. Payment of 50% of the total lot price is due within 24 hours of the signed agreement, with full payment before any load leaves the installation. All materials must be removed within 21 calendar days of the sales agreement.

One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
