Acoustic Testing for the IM-272A/WDQ Air Particle Detector and isolation valves

The contractor shall implement acoustic dampening measures on two IM-272A/WDQ APD units to reduce their sound profile and meet the acoustic requirement of reference (a), then execute airborne and structure-borne noise testing per references (b) and (f). The contractor shall also test four pumps (two meeting Navy spec, two not) provided as GFP. For the option, the contractor shall execute first article inspection for EMC (per MIL-STD-461G) and electrical interface testing (per MIL-STD-1399 Section 300B) on two APD units using a Government-provided isolation valve controller and two automatic isolation valves. The contractor shall provide detailed test reports per CDRL A001 and a GFP status report per CDRL B001. Government representatives may witness testing in-person or remotely, with at least 30 days' notice required.
