This is a Labor Hour solicitation to request a proposal (RFP).for Level II Armed Guard Security Services; to support Lake Mary and Fort Myers Florida. Long Term Recovery Office (LTRO) in support of Region 4 DR4834 FL.in the State of Florida.

The contractor will provide Level II Armed Protective Security Officers (PSOs) to perform armed guard services at two initial locations: Office Ft. Myers (12651 Gateway Blvd, Ft. Myers, FL 33913) and Office Lake Mary (701 International Pkwy, Lake Mary, FL 32746). The immediate requirement is for armed guard services to be provided within 24 hours of the execution of a Guard Task Order Form. The contractor must have 11 PSOs (7 primary, 4 standby) available at the start of the contract. Duties include access/egress control, security screening, visitor processing, patrol and response, traffic control, and enforcing building rules and regulations. The contractor must provide all uniforms, equipment, firearms (semiautomatic weapon of .9mm or .40 caliber), and ammunition. The contractor must also maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications, and ensure all personnel receive a favorable suitability adjudication from FEMA before beginning work.
