Replace Cast Iron Fittings 676-23-009

The contractor shall remove and replace existing cast iron or malleable/ductile iron fittings, valves, steam traps, steam pressure safety valves, and steam pressure reducing valves on any steam system over 15 psi or condensate systems at a temperature over 257°F. The work covers multiple buildings, crawl spaces, attics, basements, tramways, and exterior trenches and manholes, and must be performed in phases to maintain hospital operations 24/7. The contractor must also provide all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and comply with federal, state, and local authorities, project specifications, and drawings.
