Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
The project consists of two primary task areas: (1) Compressed Air System Repairs: demolition of existing fouled air lines, installation of a new air compressor, new air maintenance devices, and new air lines across all four pre-action systems; (2) Linear Heat Detection System (Protectowire) Repairs: installation of new linear heat detection wire (Protectowire) and associated interface modules for Zones 1 and 2 pre-action sprinkler systems, and system functionality testing. The contractor must also supply two 60-foot aerial boom lifts and all required fall protection PPE. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A written Fire Protection System Impairment Request must be submitted at least five working days prior to disabling any portion of the fire suppression or detection systems.
