Purpose of Amendment
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response due date from August 10, 2026 to August 24, 2026.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, travel, tools, and equipment to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and certification of fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, kitchen suppression systems, and fire extinguishers at six locations: VA Bedford Healthcare Center (200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA), Crescent House (15 Veterans Way, Lowell, MA), and four CBOCs (Gloucester, Haverhill, Lynn, Lowell) where only fire extinguisher services are required. Work includes quarterly/annual device testing per NFPA 72, semi-annual sprinkler system testing, monthly/annual fire extinguisher inspections, battery replacement, emergency response within 2 hours, programming of Edwards FireWorks system, and all associated reporting and documentation.
