Scope: Complete renovation of two (2) UPH bathrooms (approx. 120 sq. ft. each).
Labor Standard: Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) Prevailing Wage Requirements (San Diego County, CA)
Material Standard: Standard Commercial Grade
Hazardous Material Policy: Non-disturbance of wall ACM; Lead-safe work practices and waste characterization for tile demolition required.
WBS Element - Scope Description
1.0 Demolition & HAZMAT
Lead-safe demo of flooring, fixtures, and partitions in 2 bathrooms. Includes containment, monitoring, and specialized waste characterization/disposal.
2.0 Flooring
Furnish and install approx. 240 sq. ft. of new heavy-duty waterproof vinyl flooring.
3.0 Plumbing (New)
Furnish and install all new toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, valves, and flushometers for two bathrooms.
4.0 Fixtures (New)
Furnish and install new toilet partitions, shower pans, mirrors, and dispensers for two bathrooms.
5.0 Testing & Closeout
Reconnect all utilities, perform full functional and leak testing with unit POC, and conduct final site cleanup.

For site visits, CWO Justin Pritcher (Unit POC) has stated that he will have site visits for all interested vendors on Monday, September 14th @ 10am. Please have a REAL ID available to provide to security as that will be the access needed for entry. No paperwork is needed beforehand. Correct site address is listed above in the begining of this description.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform complete renovations of two (2) distinct bathrooms at Sector San Diego in Building C-2: Restrooms C9/C10 and C13/14. Work includes lead-safe demolition of existing flooring, plumbing fixtures, and bathroom fixtures; furnishing and installing new heavy-duty waterproof vinyl flooring, new sinks, showers, showerheads, valves, toilets/urinals, partitions, shower pans, mirrors, and dispensers; reconnecting all utilities; performing full functional and leak testing; and final site cleanup. Disturbance or abatement of ACM is strictly prohibited; existing wall penetrations must be used where necessary. Debris removal, profiling/characterization (including TTLC/TCLP testing for lead-containing tile debris), transport, and legal disposal of all construction debris is the contractor's responsibility.
