The contractor collects, transports, recycles and disposes of refuse generated at USCG Base Cape Cod (Buzzards Bay, MA) and USCG-owned housing in Harwich, MA. Services include scheduled collection of municipal solid waste and single-stream recycling from Base Cape Cod support/commercial facilities and residential housing, contractor-furnished container and tote maintenance, cleaning, repair, replacement and relocation, and on-call 30-cubic-yard bulk-refuse-container services including delivery, placement, removal, transportation, disposal and replacement when directed by the Government. The contractor performs collection within required service windows, corrects missed pickups within 24 hours, removes spillage, maintains containers and vehicles in safe, clean, serviceable condition, disposes of refuse at compliant facilities, recycles at permitted facilities, and provides required disposal documentation and post-award deliverables. The PWS describes 100 occupied housing units on BCC and 7 USCG-owned homes on Driftwood Circle in Harwich, 18 support-building commercial containers, and 214 residential 96-gallon totes.
