The provision of preventive maintenance services for the facility’s uninterruptable power supply systems. The Contractor shall perform planned maintenance and inspections as described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The intent is to ensure the entire standby uninterruptable power supply system for this facility are maintained according to manufacturer’s recommendations, ensure the readiness and proper operation of the system, and eliminate system malfunction, breakdown, and deterioration when units are activated/running.
The government may award the contract based on the initial offer, without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, test equipment, and materials to perform planned maintenance and inspections on three Schneider Electric Symmetra PX2 160 kW UPS systems (UPS #1 JUCR, UPS #2 Storage B041, UPS #3 S2T1) at the U.S. Embassy Windhoek. The work includes semi-annual and annual preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting and cleaning cabinets, performing battery maintenance, testing operating modes, checking alarms and firmware, and submitting detailed reports. The Contractor must also provide emergency UPS support within 24 hours of contact. The contract includes a one-year base period with four one-year options.
