EC-ECAO Exterior Door Replacement

The anticipated work covered ten door locations in the Main Building on the main level, basement level and second floor, including single and double doors, full-lite and half-lite doors, aluminum storefront systems, sidelights, transoms and solid panels. Work included verifying dimensions, removing and disposing of existing doors, frames, hardware, glazing, weatherstripping and sealants, preparing openings, installing new like-for-like doors with insulated glazing, thresholds, weather seals and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 commercial hardware, integrating designated doors with existing card readers, security systems, automatic operators and push-button actuators, testing egress and security operation, restoring adjacent concrete, masonry, aluminum framing and finishes, and complying with IBC, IFC and ADA requirements.
