The contractor must replace eleven (11) metal pipe swing gates located throughout Dinosaur National Monument (DINO). Six (6) of these are double leaf, and the other five (5) are single leaf gates. The work includes removing 12 existing gates, posts, footings, signs and reflectors; fabricating 11 new gate posts (3.5 feet high) and 400 new gate leafs (various lengths); installing new concrete footings for 22 gates; painting and installing 11 new gates (Safety Yellow); installing 11 new MCTUD signs and reflectors; installing 72 new concrete footings for bollards and 72 new bollards; providing 4 portable toilets (including weekly cleaning service); and haul away and dump charges. The contractor is responsible for the removal and legal disposal of the existing metal gates. All locations and dimensions will be verified by the contractor to ensure their bid proposal is accurate.
