ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
The contractor must provide all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation for snow plowing (after 2 inches accumulation), shoveling, salting (upon TPOC request), and snow removal (upon request, typically when storms exceed 24 inches) at Westville Dam, Storage Building, Marjorie Lane, and the Grand Trunk Trail Parking Lot. Services are categorized by snowfall thresholds: less than 6 inches, 6-12 inches, 12-24 inches, and greater than 24 inches. Plowing areas total approximately 61,000 sq ft (Westville Dam, Storage Building, Marjorie Lane) and 10,315 sq ft (Grand Trunk Trail Parking Lot). Salting is limited to Westville Dam, Storage Building, and Marjorie Lane (61,000 sq ft). Shoveling includes the Westville Office front door and garage door, Westville Dam Storage Building entry door and four garage bays, and Westville Dam Gatehouse bridge to front access door. Snow removal covers all locations. The contractor must submit pre-work submittals (Accident Prevention Plan, Activity Hazard Analysis, SSHO Designation Letter, First Aid/CPR Certifications, SDS for road salt) within 14 days of award, and no field work may proceed until submittals are accepted. A pre-work conference is required with the contractor's Project Manager and Quality Control Personnel physically present. Payment is monthly per unit prices based on actual services performed.
