The contractor shall perform semi-annual, annual, five-year full-load, and ad-hoc inspections of all conveyances listed in Appendices A through C at the Dallas, Garland, and Sam Rayburn (Bonham) VA campuses. The contractor must use TDLR-registered, QEI-certified inspectors. The maintenance contractor will furnish, move, and remove all test weights and perform all test operations at no cost to this contract; the inspection contractor's role is limited to inspecting, witnessing, and reporting. The contractor shall provide documentation to TDLR and to the COR. The contractor's testing scope is limited to Category 1 (annual) tests and Category 5 (five-year full load) tests; Category 3 tests on hydraulic elevators are not within scope.
