IAW Attachment 1 - Statement of Work:
The intent of this project is to complete inspection and testing of the Building 20 atrium system and provide a report summarizing the source of water leaks that includes photos to document the condition atrium system with recommended repairs that have a cost estimate based on the year of the inspection. The report shall be in order by location and by the urgency of the repair in a prioritized manner.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238160 – Roofing Contractors The small business size standard is $19M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor must complete inspection and testing of the Building 20 atrium system, including the East/West and North/South atriums, flashings, structural attachments, fasteners, and adjacent wall panel systems. Testing shall include 100% coverage water spray testing to identify leaks. The contractor must provide manlifts, fall protection, hoses, fittings, and all necessary equipment. A report must be submitted within 10 days after inspection, in PDF format, documenting deficiencies, testing processes, recommended repairs with cost estimates, and prioritized by urgency. The contractor must also provide a construction schedule, safety plan, quality control plan, and submittals within 10 days of award or notice to proceed.
