Aircraft Defensive Electro-optical Protection Technologies (ADEPT)

The contractor shall conduct experimentation, evaluation, and assessment in accordance with the Statement of Objectives. Work includes threat software and hardware exploitation, laboratory threat evaluation, laser-based testing, open-air testing, digital engineering using modeling and simulation, missile aeronautics modeling, aircraft and flare signature modeling, high-performance computing optimization, and prototype countermeasure hardware creation. The contractor shall also deliver data, computer software, and hardware as specified in the CDRLs and SOO. The contractor must comply with AFRL Supplemental Requirements including packaging, COMSEC monitoring, acknowledgment of sponsorship, contractor systems declaration, patent rights reporting, insurance, security incident reporting, visit requests, base support, CAC requirements, associate contractor agreements, organizational conflict of interest restrictions, program protection, flight test and evaluation, and risk identification and security countermeasures.
