The general scope of work pertaining to this contract consists of performing annual road, campground road and trailhead maintenance throughout the Sheyenne National Grassland. This work is being solicited as a “performance- based” service contract. The term “performance-based” indicates the Contractor is responsible for achieving an end product. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237310 The small business size standard is 45M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies to perform annual road, campground road and trailhead maintenance on National Forest System Roads and Trailheads within the Sheyenne National Grassland. Work includes mobilization, roadway reconditioning by motor grader up to six passes to restore cross-section, grade and alignment, blading shoulder-to-shoulder including turnouts, shaping when moisture is suitable as determined by the COR, crowning, cleaning ditches and drainage facilities, and furnishing, placing, spreading and compacting ND Class 13 certified weed-free aggregate surfacing approved by the COR, with use of a mapping program to locate contract items and provision of a work schedule and Quality Control Plan.
