1.2 Facility Background
The WJB Dorn VA Medical Center is a 216-bed medical facility providing acute medical, surgical, psychiatric, and long-term care services. The facility is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and provides primary, secondary, and selected tertiary care.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, travel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, and incidental services to clean the condenser and evaporator tubes of two Trane CVHF770 chillers. Work includes draining and disassembly, tube cleaning, Eddy Current testing with a written report, replacement of brushes, basket clips, and up to 50 baskets in the automatic tube brush system, reassembly, and operational checks. The contractor must also submit a written service report and an Eddy Current testing report within ten business days after completion.
