Amendment 0001: The Purpose of this amendment is to provide an updated Technical Requirements Packet. As a result of the updated technical requirements Packet, and updated distribution of the document, the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirement is amended from Level 2 (self) to Level 1 (self)
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award Firm Fixed Price contract for a towed array transporter and dockside handling system in accordance with The Towed Array Transporter and Dockside Handling System Technical Requirements Package. The contractor must design and fabricate a towed array transporter and dockside handling system. The system includes a 4-wheel trailer with a steerable front axle, capable of carrying a 7,000lb load with a Gross Trailer Weight not exceeding 12,000lbs. It must accommodate a removable reel with specific dimensions, provide reeling speeds of 0-15 RPM with adjustable back tension from 0 to 650lbs, and include a 4-point leveling feature. The unit must be designed for a 20-year service life in a marine environment, include a lockable storage container, task lighting, and provisions for a portable generator. The contractor must also deliver a technical manual and a Technical Data Package.
