Ground Ambulance Service

The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Specialty Care Transport (SCT) or Critical Care Transport (CCT) services on an as-needed basis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Services include urgent and non-emergent transports, transport of patient luggage and medical records, and must meet response time requirements: scheduled orders must arrive on time, urgent transports from VA within 30 minutes, and add-on requests within 60 minutes. The contractor must utilize the VetRide Vendor Portal for trip requests and invoicing, and maintain a Quality Control Plan. The ordering period is effective from Date of Award through 09/30/2031, with place of performance variable within DC, MD, and VA, including the Washington DC VA Medical Center, its CBOCs, other VA medical centers, and veteran residences.
