Site Visit:
A site visit is scheduled for 9/17/2026@ 10:30 am, the meeting place is the US flag stage and podium Yellowstone National Cemetery Vendors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit to ensure a full understanding of the requirements. No additional or repeat site visits will be scheduled.
Vendor Questions:
All vendor questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted by email to the david.hester@va.gov no later 9/21/2026. Questions received after this deadline may not be addressed, and answers will be provided via amendment no later than 9/28/2026 on SAM.gov.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools and supervision for interment operations and grounds maintenance, including mowing, string trimming, aeration, dethatching, blade edging, overseeding, fertilization, weed and pest control, ornamental mulching and pruning, irrigation operation and repair, casket and cremains interments with grave excavation and backfilling, initial and replacement headstone setting, headstone raising, realignment and cleaning, sunken grave repair, turf establishment, hard-surface power washing, sweeping, snow and ice removal, restroom janitorial servicing, trash and floral removal, and placement and removal of Memorial Day grave flags.
