The contractor shall disassemble and remove existing APFS equipment including A-Frames (Flex I & II) with electrical removed back to distribution panels and surrounding wire storage racks; demolish labeling, verification, packing, and tote line conveyor systems, workstations, and packing equipment with electrical removed to distribution panels and compressed air removed to air tanks; remove Baxter 1 & 2 tablet counting automation equipment, conveyors, and shelving in highlighted areas; remove all office furnishings, systems furniture, cabinets, and chairs from identified rooms and areas; remove miscellaneous equipment including refrigerators and freezers (to be relocated to storage site); remove air compressors, tanks, and dryers from garage area; remove forklifts and charging stations from receiving area (to be moved to offsite storage if VA cannot excess on GSA); demolish exterior items including fencing, satellite dishes, benches, tables, bike racks, and smoke shed; demolish interior walls, bollards, turnstiles, duct work, and cages; remove all decommissioned equipment with careful disassembly by skilled individuals to maintain component integrity, with packaging in accordance with manufacturer requirements to protect electronic components from static discharge and mechanical damage, inventory all major equipment with photographs per GSA naming conventions, palletize and stretch-wrap for future disposition, and leave all floors clean, bare, swept with no debris and all floor bolts cut flush. Contractor shall provide off-site storage facility (5,000–10,000 sq ft, climate-controlled, burglar and fire alarmed, security cameras at entrance/exit) within 15 minutes of Shawnee CMOP, maintain monthly for up to one year, and pay all lease and utilities; maintain site cleanliness throughout with daily cleanup, removal of combustible materials, broom cleaning of work areas, provision of dumpsters, coordination of laydown with project manager, provision of own forklift or power equipment for handling, compliance with all VA security procedures and safety requirements including provision of safety plan and personal protective equipment, no unauthorized photography, and adherence to all prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon, environmental, and permit requirements.
