The contractor must supply 16 pieces of 3/16-inch-thick x 1-inch height x 3-feet wide x 24-feet long smooth surface aluminum grating (Aluminum 6063-T52 or equivalent) for use in fabricating and installing protective shrouds on the top of the SSC High Pressure Gas Facility Vaporizer fans. The shrouds are intended to protect property and personnel in the event of a vaporizer fan mechanical failure that could send projectiles into the surrounding area. Delivery is FOB Destination to Building 9165 – SSC Weld Shop, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529.
