The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correction Institution (FCI) McKean, Lewis Run, Pennsylvania, herein issues solicitation 15B20927Q00000002 for the requirements of: FCI MCKEAN CAMP ADMIN AIR HANDING UNIT & INSTALLATION FY 2027. This solicitation is restricted, 100% Small Business. Deliveries will be made to the FCI McKean Warehouse located at 6975 Route 59 in Lewis Run, PA 16738, which is 15 miles south of Bradford, PA. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offerors whose bid, conforming to the solicitation are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government with both price and past performance considered. The solicitation will become available on October 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM EST and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The closing date for the receipt of quotes is November 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through a purchase order. Faith-based and community-based organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The North American Classification (NAICS) code applicable for this requirement is 333415 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The contractor shall provide a supply, delivery, and installation solution including all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, tools, and incidentals required to deliver one fully functional air handling unit. The unit must be brand name or equal to York XTI -39x66. The work includes all ductwork, heating lines, pumps, power wiring, and associated controls per manufacturer recommendation. The contractor must also provide training to BOP staff for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the new equipment. A 5-year warranty on all materials and labor is required.
