The City of New York has a combined sewer system serving approximately one third of the city. During rain events, rainfall is transmitted to the water bodies surrounding the City with limited water quality treatment, contributing to water quality impacts in the receiving water bodies. The scope of GI-PSE 1, 2 and 3 contracts are to design an extensive system of GI practices in NYC Parks and Publicly owned street ends to capture and manage stormwater runoff from impervious surfaces top meet Consent Order requirements.
These practices include but are not limited to bioretention systems, permeable pavement, synthetic turf, wetlands, green roofs, subsurface detention/retention systems, and/or any combination thereof. This Request for Proposal (RFx) is being released through PASSPort, New York Citys online procurement portal. Responses to this RFx should be submitted via PASSPort.

Most public work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
