The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, software support, testing supplies, reporting, and technical expertise necessary for Water Management Program development and support, potable and utility water system risk management, Legionella environmental validation testing, Sterile Processing Services water testing, dental waterline testing, cooling tower water management support, remote monitoring and web-based data management support, quarterly Water Safety Committee technical support, and corrective action consultation and remediation recommendations. Covered systems include potable hot and cold-water systems, cooling tower open loops, Sterile Processing Services water systems, dental treatment water systems, building plumbing distribution systems, and related monitoring and validation activities. Specific tasks include developing and maintaining a Safety Water Management Program aligned with VHA Directive 1061, CDC Legionella Toolkit, CMS requirements, and other standards; quarterly environmental validation testing for potable hot and cold-water systems; monthly critical water testing per ST108; quarterly dental waterline testing using HPC Spread Plate Method 9215C; and operation of a web-based data management system.
