FY26 NRM | 460-26-008 | CLC Roof HVAC Piping Replacement

The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to replace in kind the Heating Hot Water and Chilled Water piping and all associated main and branch piping on the roof of the Community Living Center. This includes over 300 feet of 3 inch carbon steel piping for the Chilled Water system and 300 feet of 2.5 inch Type K copper for the Heating Hot Water. The work also includes replacing electric heat trace on both systems and replacing insulation with appropriately sized insulation with a secondary vapor barrier per specification 23 07 11. The project involves trades for removal and replacement, general demolition, mechanical piping, insulation, and electrical heat trace system power. The work will be conducted inside an operational hospital environment, requiring all work to be performed outside the hours of 0800-1600 M-F, and the contractor must plan all phasing in coordination with hospital staff to minimize downtime.
