Repair Community Recreation Bldg. 45

The project includes all design and construction necessary to modernize the space, improve the customer experience, and replace outdated equipment, ITT Center, Library, Gaming area, Brewhouse, along with food storage, meeting rooms, offices, and restrooms as described herein; including all demolition, installation, renovation, temporary construction and restoration necessary to produce a complete and useable facility. Scope of work includes but not limited to: 1. Site Investigation 2. Site Development and Design 3. Materials 4. Demolition 5. Other construction/renovation efforts. Specific work includes: removing and replacing exterior barrier walls and railing at the Entry Patio; removing and replacing two TVs and two speakers at the outdoor patio; evaluating natural lighting; designing and installing improvements to interior program areas including general circulation areas, customer service counter, open seating area, meditation and VR space, conference rooms, LAN gaming room, arcade area, mothering room, administration area, ITT, breakroom, restroom, and storage rooms; converting the existing library into a flex space for virtual reality and meditation; converting the existing ITT area to private offices and cubicles; converting existing office spaces into a new ITT Office; renovating restrooms; designing and installing improvements to food service areas including kitchen, bar, and dining area; replacing below-grade cast-iron piping; replacing the existing water softener system; assessing and potentially replacing two remaining boilers; installing a new 400amp panel; designing and installing a new kitchen makeup air unit and exhaust fan system; and addressing fire separation distance between Building 45 and the adjacent building.
