The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and facilities for chemical analysis of aqueous samples for tritium using electrolytic enrichment and gas counting (0.3 pCi/L minimum detection concentration, 45-day turnaround) and gas counting without enrichment (10 pCi/L MDC, 35-day turnaround). Services include sample login, preparation, analysis, quality control, reporting results electronically and in tabular form, and retaining residual samples for 90 days. Subcontracting of analytical work is not allowed. The contractor must participate in external performance testing studies and maintain a quality system with NIST-traceable standards.
