The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, is releasing a solicitation for the supply and installation of metal guardrails and handrails in a U.S residence in Marseille, France.
The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract.

The project involves fabrication and installation of custom carbon steel guardrails and handrails in multiple locations throughout the garden of the U.S. Consulate General's Residence in Marseille. Work includes: main house lower terrace guardrail (20 linear meters), main access staircase and pathway guardrails (multiple sections totaling over 20 meters), guardrails near outbuilding/dependence (various sections), handrails and safety upgrades (including curved handrails), and main house upper terrace modifications (including volute modification and painting of grilles). All work must comply with IBC 2024, French standards (CCH, NF P01-012, NF P01-013), Eurocodes, and include corrosion protection by hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating suitable for marine environment (corrosion category C5). The contractor must also provide protection of existing surfaces, a health and safety plan, and all required documentation.
