Snow and Ice Service Removal Agreement

The contractor must provide snow and ice removal service at the Central Virginia VA Health Care System – Richmond, VA Medical Center. The work includes clearing Priority 1 areas (entrance and perimeters roads, specific drives, streets, and parking lots) totaling 632,700 sq. ft., and Priority 2 areas (additional parking lots) totaling 2,113,564 sq. ft. The contractor must respond within two hours of notification, operate 24/7 including holidays, and ensure continuous action until the COR determines treatment is no longer necessary. Specific requirements include removing snow from parking lots and roadways, ensuring a 3-foot wide pathway on sidewalks, and disposing of snow in pre-designated areas. The contractor must also provide a list of equipment, be responsible for any damage caused, and comply with security and background investigation requirements.
