Work includes complete EPDM roof removal and replacement, installation of new insulation and cants, correction of roof pitch to existing drains, replacement of a damaged rooftop exhaust hood, removal of existing attic exhaust equipment, installation of new lightning protection on specified rooftop equipment, and all required flashing, curb modifications, and associated repairs. The contractor shall also investigate the concrete deck once the EPDM roofing is removed and repair any damaged areas. Existing roof penetrations designated for infill shall be filled with concrete roof decking material. Work will be performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required for a complete and functional roofing installation, including all debris removal, secured dumpsters, temporary weather protection, equipment lifts, and site fencing. A crane will be required to lift debris and materials to and from the roof. The contractor will have 90 days from the Notice to Proceed to complete the project.
