The purpose is to provide responses to questions for clarification; see attachment titled "USCG 70Z08526R3D035B00 Question Form_USCG Response." As a result, the Statement of Work (SOW) has been revised by deleting para 3.1.7 in its entirety. Please reference the SOW titled "Statement_of_Work_Rev 1_09-30-26."
This is a solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12. Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services, and FAR 16 – Types of Contracts, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to establish a requirements-type contract on a sole-source basis with Allied Systems Company, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The solicitation number 70Z08526R3D035B00 is issued as request for quote (RFQ) for an Open Inspect-Repair service acquisition requirement supporting the United States Coast Guard owned Allied Dual Point Davits.

The contractor shall open, inspect, report, overhaul, test, preserve, package and mark government-furnished Dual Point Davit Model DDP11000CTS to like-new Serviceable A condition per SFLC Std Spec 5000 and TP 7902A using OEM-specification parts. Work includes receipt inspection, disassembly and cleaning, visual and non-destructive inspection, overhaul of mechanical, hydraulic, winch, constant-tension, boom, sheave, electrical, starter, power and accumulator systems, renewal of hydraulic hoses, elastomers, bearings, bushings and stainless fasteners, installation of the DDP110000 constant-tension upgrade and machinery-space camera system, full hydrostatic and operational load testing, long-term-storage preservation and delivery to Defense Depot Barstow.
