SLDC seeks a consultant to assess current financial systems, provide context on industry best practices, and generate an actionable modernization plan. The consultant will address workflows, develop financial management procedures, and create a roadmap for efficient real-time reporting and data-driven insights.
The engagement encompasses five core service areas: (A) Systems and Process Evaluation—conducting an audit of current financial software and reporting tools, and outlining technology solutions to automate processes and improve reporting; (B) Banking Relationship Evaluation—assessing online banking capabilities, fraud detection tools, cash management, and recommending banking relationship updates; (C) Change Management—mapping budgeting procedures, facilitating process improvement exercises, developing implementation plans for technology enhancements, and supporting high-priority change efforts; (D) Process Documentation and Business Continuity—mapping all financial processes and systems, creating step-by-step guides and checklists, auditing team strengths and opportunities, and providing training on financial management best practices; and (E) Cross-Agency Standardization—establishing unified monthly reporting templates and standardizing financial tracking across SLDC's distinct silos and boards.
