Contractor insurance application.

One application for the insurance a contractor carries, matched to what the owners and GCs on your RFPs require. Pick the lines to quote; each asks only what we need to start. Where a line’s insurers need more, we send you that line’s full application. Answer what you can and send it from the review sheet. Our brokerage takes it to market and comes back with quotes, or with questions.

Plan on 10 to 20 minutes for general liability, workers’ comp and auto, with your current policies to hand. Your answers are kept in this browser tab only, with no account. Closing the tab clears them, so gather your documents first (the checklist lists them).

We need this to start on your quotes. You can send with blanks; we’ll ask for the rest.

What to have on hand: an RFP you’re bidding and your current policies (6 things)

After you send

What happens after you send.

  1. We read it

A Light RFP broker reads every answer, matches your trades to the insurers’ classes, and asks about anything blank or flagged.

  2. We take it to market

Our brokerage takes each line to the insurers whose appetite fits your work. Where a line’s insurers need more than the starter questions, we send you that line’s full application.

  3. You compare and choose

Quotes side by side, line by line, checked against the limits and wording your RFPs ask for. Our brokerage puts the policies you choose in force and issues the certificates your jobs need.

Send us your current policies and an RFP, and we’ll fill this in with you.
