When a corporate (non-individual) applicant seeks a New Hampshire state hawker or peddler license, RSA 320:8 requires a $5,000 deposit with the Secretary of State — cash or surety bond. The bond version is $275 flat, our 3% minimum, and there is no credit check on this bond.

Corporate hawker/peddler bonds are about the simplest thing in surety. Here's the entire process:
Company details and an effective date. That's the application — no financials, no credit check section, no follow-up scavenger hunt.
License bonds like this are among the thousands of bond types that issue right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed bond arrives by email, ready to deposit with your state hawker/peddler license application. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
$5,000 bond × 3% = $150, below our $275 minimum — so the price is $275, one-time per term. Fixed amount, fixed price.
New Hampshire licenses traveling sellers — hawkers and peddlers — under RSA 320, with state licenses issued by the Secretary of State. When the applicant is not a natural person (a corporation or other entity), RSA 320:8 requires a $5,000 deposit with the Secretary of State, in cash or a surety bond.
The deposit covers the corporation and its employees or agents who sell under the license. It stands behind their compliance with the hawker/peddler law and protects the public and the state against losses from violations.
The bond must remain effective for at least 60 days after the annual renewal date, and the licensee files written proof it's in force. It is not insurance for you — if the surety pays a claim, you repay the surety. We track your bond and notify you well ahead of the renewal date.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit check section, because this bond doesn't have one.
