Missouri’s Liquor Control Law (Chapter 311, RSMo) requires a license to transport intoxicating liquor in the state, administered by the Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control. Under RSMo 311.420, an applicant for a transporter’s license files a bond in the penal sum of $1,000 with surety approved by the Supervisor of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
The bond is conditioned that the transporter will not violate any provision of the liquor control laws or the regulations under them — and any violation works a forfeiture of the bond to the State of Missouri. It is a compliance guarantee tied to the lawful movement of liquor.
Note one exemption: carriers regulated by the state’s motor carrier and railroad safety authority under Chapters 387, 389, and 390 are not required to hold this transporter license. If you are unsure whether you fall under the exemption, confirm with Alcohol and Tobacco Control before buying.
Submit the application — the executed bond is generated instantly, ready to file with Alcohol & Tobacco Control. No credit check section.
