The bond indemnifies the Village for a licensed contractor's noncompliance with Village ordinances and regulations governing contractors.
It's a three-party arrangement: you (the principal), the surety carrier, and the Village of River Forest (the obligee), with property owners and the Village itself as the protected parties.
