Section 12-10-717 requires each mortgage loan originator to post and maintain a surety bond in an amount prescribed by the Board by rule, and provides that the bond may be held in the name of the employing company. Under 4 CCR 725-3, the company-level bond is $100,000 when it covers fewer than 20 individual licensees and $200,000 when it covers 20 or more.
