Arkansas requires every paid solicitor to file a $10,000 surety bond to register with the Secretary of State, under Ark. Code Ann. § 4-28-407. Ours is $300 flat, which is 3% of the bond amount. The application is five minutes, and registration bonds like this are the fastest thing we issue.

Registration bonds are the simplest thing in surety. Here's the entire process:
Business details and an effective date. That's the application — no financials, no credit check section, no follow-up scavenger hunt.
Registration bonds like this are among the thousands of bond types that issue right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed bond and power of attorney arrive by email, ready to file with your paid-solicitor registration. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
$10,000 bond × 3% = $300, one-time per term. Fixed amount, fixed price, multi-year if you want it.
A paid solicitor is hired to solicit charitable contributions on behalf of a charity. Arkansas requires the solicitor to register with the Secretary of State and to file a $10,000 bond under Ark. Code Ann. § 4-28-407, as a financial backstop for the donations and charities it handles.
The bond runs to the Secretary of State and the Attorney General for the use of the state, and to any person — including a charitable organization — that has a cause of action against the solicitor for liabilities arising from conduct that violates the charitable-solicitation law. The surety's aggregate liability is capped at the $10,000 bond amount.
The bond must stay active for the life of your registration. A paid solicitor also files each solicitation contract with the Secretary of State at least fifteen days before a campaign begins. We track the bond and notify you 60 and 30 days out, keeping your $10,000 filing continuous.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit check section, because this bond doesn't have one.
