Arizona Revised Statutes § 6-814 sets the procedure for licensing escrow agents and requires a corporate surety bond in the amount of $100,000, payable to any person injured by the failure of the licensee to comply with the requirements of the chapter, covering the wrongful act, default, fraud, or misrepresentation of the licensee or its employees. Cash and certain federally insured deposit alternatives may be substituted; suits on the bond are generally barred three years after the acts on which they are based.
