The contractor shall provide roller bearing cylinders (NSN 3110-00-416-9422 NZ, PN 4035597) that support the front of the fan module and prevent axial movement during engine operation. The bearings must be manufactured from PWA 25 wrought low alloy steel and comply with higher-level contract quality requirements including ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100 standards. Under Bid A, the contractor must submit a first article test plan, conduct testing on three articles (one destructively tested, two for non-destructive testing), submit a first article test report, and deliver 20 production units. Under Bid B, the contractor delivers 20 production units without first article testing if previously approved by the Air Force. All items require unique item identification and must be transported F.O.B. Origin to specified Air Force locations. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin, with receiving reports submitted via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
