Salient Characteristics Degausser System
The contractor must deliver a high-volume, continuous-feed media degausser and an integrated hard drive destruction device that meets NSA EPL certifications, achieves a throughput of up to 1,300 HDD per hour, erases LMR and PMR media with coercivity of at least 5,000 Oersteds and tape media with coercivity of at least 3,000 Oersteds, and includes all necessary components (degausser, destruction device, utility cart, chute, conveyor kit, media belt) for a fully automatic, one-touch continuous erasure and destruction process. Delivery is to Building 42, 57330 Mustang Drive, McConnell AFB, KS 67221 within 60 days of award.
