Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1307 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Swather delivered to Sidney, Montana.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111 – Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor shall provide a turn-key swather (or front tractor mounted mower) meeting detailed salient characteristics, including air suspended seat, mirrors, air conditioning, instructional seat, rotary or sickle header under 16.5 feet wide, under 3500 engine hours (or under 10000 hours for tractor), GreenStar ready, auto steer capable, diesel engine, and model years 2004-2013 (or 2003-2011 for tractor). The machine must be delivered to the Froid research farm or Northern Plains Agricultural Research Laboratory in Sidney, MT. The contractor shall work with site personnel to ensure proper function, provide training on software and equipment operations, and warrant the machine for one year from final acceptance.
