The contractor must accept a minimum of 70,000 LCY of TCD solid waste at a RCRA Subtitle D compliant landfill for a one-year period, with waste densities ranging from 1.2 to 1.7 tons/LCY (estimated 98,000 tons at average density). After disposal of 20,000 LCY, the contractor will backhaul 50,000 LCY of soil borrow from the facility to the Tuba City Dump Site. The contractor must provide waste manifests, hold BIA harmless from liability, and comply with all facility and EPA waste designation requirements. Haul trucks must meet Arizona DOT safety requirements, and each truckload is limited to 24 tons. Initially ten trucks making two trips per day, potentially increasing to twenty trucks.
