The National Park Service at Independence National Historical Park (INDE) has a requirement for a contractor to provide annual testing and certification of all backflow prevention devices (and air-gap separations), plus responsive maintenance and repair when devices fail or fall out of compliance.
This is a total small business set-aside acquisition. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, qualified personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform annual functional tests and certification for every covered backflow prevention device or air gap separation, using appropriate City certified technicians. The contractor must submit results to PWD IWBC and provide copies to the COR, and maintain detailed testing logs for three years. For maintenance and repair, the contractor must identify faulty or non-compliant devices, repair or replace them with PWD approved equipment, and perform final verification tests. The contractor must also complete and maintain a device inventory table for all park locations, and provide various deliverables including an Accident Prevention Plan, Annual Testing Schedule, and progress reports.
